The clean laminar air flow hood (laminar flow hood, downflow) is a dust – free and sterile purification device with vertical unidirectional flow,providing a local class A environment. It is widely used in the pharmaceutical industry to create a dedicated class A clean environment within a lower level clean area.

Working Principle

The clean laminar flow hood adopts a vertical unidirectional flow air pattern. The supply air first passes through a primary efficiency filter for pre filtration to remove large particle dust particles in the air.The pre treated air then undergoes a second stage filtration through a high efficiency particulate air(HEPA) filter to fully protect the HEPA filter.Under the pressure provided by the centrifugal fan, the air passes through the HEPA filter to meet thecleanliness requirements. This ensures that the cleanliness level within the working area meets the process requirements.
